I copied text from an email (in outlook web access) into a new word document. A vertical line has appeared to the left of the text margin and I cannot find a way to remove it. I tried all the advice in the word help files, eg formats.
Been using outlook and word for years never happened before, but have just been switched to outlook web access so that's the only change?
Thanks for any clues, Horace. |

Probably you have Tracked Changes turned on -- possibly as a result of accidentally pressing Ctrl+Shift+E -- and the material you pasted is being tracked as an insert. You need to turn off Tracked Changes and accept the change.
