is it possible to add to the texture library. I know you can use a graphic from your hard drive but it does not stay in library if you delete the object you filled. I have searched online for information and searched the microsoft office folders but to no avail.
I only wish to know for convenience as it would save much mouse clicking if it could be done. |

I'm pretty sure that texture files are hard coded and cannot be added to. --

You could create a hidden "Pallet Slide" with your textures in dummy shapes. Then even if you delete the one object, the texture would stay in the library.

Pattern fills, yes, but not texture fills. Still there. Still hardcoded. In earlier versions, the fills were bitmap resources built into one or another of the DLLs that make up PPT. I doubt that's changed.

thanks for the help, the hidden slide is a great idea as I tend to use the same fills. |
