Hello world,
I would like to be able to type a page in word and have the option to email it, but my email buttons are shaded grey and don't work. I bought the home version and just added the key code as I had a trial version pre-installed in the new computer. I thought that the email buttons would then turn coloured so I could use them. Any ideas? |

I'm no specialist of email directly from Word (frankly, I never felt the need to do so ), but what Word seems to be doing there is basically tell the OS to startup its default email application. That's the same that happens when, say, you are on a webpage and click on a mailto-type hyperlink there.
So the first question is: is there a default (MAPI) email client registered with your system?
