Yes pretty much. Most eSATA cables cover the full rating anyway.
Here's a random link to where you can buy an eSATA cable if your local
store dosen't have one. Check the specs.

Huh? Knowing the difference between eSATA and SATA won't answer the lady's
question. She's comparing eSATA (or eSATA II) to eSATA (or eSATA II)

out there that still conforms to old 1.0 specs and to beware of such,
particularly with cables. The differences in the specs can be found farther
up.
The question was whether the cables were both eSATA II, and the answer was
contained in the 3Gbps spec, which is what eSATA II is -- up to 3Gbps max ,
instead of 1.5 Gbps max.

Then read my first sentence again. You claimed that all eSATA cables are
eSATA II compliant (can support 3Gbps), and the documentation both you and I
