I travel extensively and use the Time Zone feature of Outlook 2007. Unfortunately, Windows XP's list of time zones is very limited when it comes to medium or small towns and some countries like Kazakhstan. I would like to be able to add entries to the Windows time zone list so I don't have to research which alternative offered by Windows is the correct one. Does anyone know of a way to do this? |

Time Zones are all in UTC + or - format. All you have to do is find out the local time zone's UTC format and select it.
cf. LINK
e.g., Astana (AKA Aqmola), Kazakstan is UTC +6 LINK
NB: Not all areas in Kazakstan are in the same time zone; e.g., LINK
NB: UTC and GMT are not necessarily interchangable.
PS: MS TimeZone can be a handy utility for international travelers! => LINK
