Running Win XP Home and IE6....only shortcut that will work from desktop to websites is my ISP - Verizon. I see many fixes you have provided to other users with similar problems but they go back two years. Current fix, please...

Hi, Is IE6 the default browser? Check that at Control Panel> Add or remove programs> Set program access and defaults.
If you create a new Internet Shortcut, does that work? Example: Go to LINK Make the IE window smaller than the desktop. Drag the IE icon at the left side of the Address Bar to the desktop. Close all IE windows then try that shortcut. Does it work?
