I have now installed the 'service pack 3' update three times and it hasn't worked once. I am not getting a code. I'm getting two boxes, one says 'Access is denied' and the other says 'Service pack 3 installation did not complete', 'Select OK to undo the changes that have been made'. I don't know what is going on but when I first tried to do the update, we didn't have enough memory. We solved that problem and then the last two times I've tried to run the update, I get those two messages. In addition, I got an error that says the update didn't fully install and XP may not be woking properly, which it isn't. It's much slower and I'm not able to view all of my icons in the .ico view, I have to use a thumbnail view, which is awful. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! -- Kelly Walter |
