This project has gained some publicity. There's IronPython, right, so has anybody thought about implementing Python using LLVM as backend, as it seems not out of question at all? |

No, I don't mean "Python written in Python", with whatever backend.

so anyone attempting to write a Python implementation for the LLVM aren't allowed to use Python for the front-end? why not?
