I'm running XP Home / SP3. All up to date. Avira and ZA free versions in use.

Long story short, my 'explore tree' now includes folders My Docs, Shared,
Guest and my personal user Doc folders. Below these, I have 'My Network
Places' expanded to MS Terminal Svcs - MS Windows Network - Web Client
Network and 'My Web Sites on MSN' ...Also unable to block IP range and port
selections.

At Dos prompt, "netstat -ab" shows misc. TCP listening/active IP's that are
all over the board. Wait 30 sec's and poof, their gone. The baytest MS are
a given, I understand......right? On top of all this, I have netbios txt
files that contain 'not normal' characters/text. I apologize if I have
posted in the wrong group area, so I'd appreciate MVP direction re: where I
should go from here. Thanks very much in advance!

Gib
