Is there a regedit setting that allows task manager to end tasks without
having the annoying confirmation box pop up. |

Maybe, maybe not. If you're killing the same task each time then
you could create a shortcut on your desktop to invoke taskkill.exe.
It won't require any confirmation. |

Sorry, I now realise that you're running Win2000.exe. No taskkill.exe

It's a Windows 2000 Resource Kit utility. It may be in Support\Tools
folder on the Windows 2000 CD-ROM, if not download it here:
