Sorry for this test folks, but absolutely everything I post here, no
matter how PSP-9 related vanishes completely.

I'm still able to receive posting from the PSP 9 Newsgroup, but no sends
ever get throught.
I may be grumpy, but I don't write offensive stuff about C****

I've written to support@corel askimg if they could look in to it for me,
but nothing...

This is posted as a plain Ng posting.

Others have issues posting images, but I haven't heard of anyone not being
able to post text, so this is very strange.

My first suggestion, for what it's worth, is to try posting a text message
with another newsreader. You likely have OE installed, so you could try
with that first. It's a stretch, but perhaps it's an issue with Pluto and
not Corel.

Possible, but considering my posts to the PSP-X2 Ng go through okay, and
99.9 percent of all my postings to mailing lists and newsgroups are
through Pluto.

I have a vague thought I've already tried that using Thunderbird.
I'll try again later this evening.

Thanks for the thoughts

How very interesting that two texts posted from Thunderbird worked okay.

How very interesting that my postings to X2 using Pluto work, but
postings to PSP 9 don't.

How unfortunate that finding this is not much help as I don't do my
Mail/Mailing list/Newsgroups posting/receiving on a Win PC.

You might want to look into how you have your Pluto newsreader
configured. The headers of your posts with Pluto seem not to
specify Content-Type or Content-Transfer-Encoding while in
Thunderbird they are:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Maybe in the absence of a specification the Corel ISP or news
server assumes something silly and eats the message as a result.

I've now reconfigured Pluto to include that data and sent a test posting
from the other machine, as of writing this in Thunderbird, the test
posting has not re-surfaced.

Thanks for the thoughts, appreciated.

This posting returned from the Corel News servers, but the Pluto test
post (Posted somewhile before the above) has not returned.

So one has to assume it's something else.

So what is going on... I shall manually fix the header.
