Hi,
I have application in Access 2003 with a menubar (a classic one) used for to perform different tasks. I have tried to run the application with aceess 2007. But there is no menubar or is it hidden somewhere? The application starts but how to get on?
By the way, are there more surprises runing 2003 applications with 2007? Do I need to have extra code in the 2003 application for to let it work with 2007?
Thanks in advance

As you know Access has the ribbon now. All earlier created toolbars can be found under the tab Add ins. If you want to create new functionality within this toolbar it has to be done in the earlier version.
Surprises? what do you call a surprise... besides the fact that the databasewindow has changed into the navigation pane and the ribbon functionality you can work with 2007 as you did before. Sure there will be some functionality that's new but you'd have to dive into that to master it.
You can also opt to work in compatibility mode where the 2003 db's will run in 2003 mode. That way you won't be able to use the 'new' functionality but it will run as before.
If you want more info on creating ribbons and using the old menubars take a look at: LINK
