Where did it go? I can't find it anywhere, even after uninstall and reinstall. It supposed to be a windows component.
Thank you. |

C:\windows\system32\clipbrd.exe
Or did you already look there? |

Yes, I see it, but why isn't it under programs/accessories? It's a windows component that can be installed and removed.
Thank you.

Why would the clipboard (which is pretty fundamental) be listed as a component "accessory" to be installed or uninstalled? That makes little sense.

You can add the shortcut to clipbrd.exe to your main menu quite easily. I did so years ago by adding it to the category accessories.

Well for sure. But I thought he was thinking it should be a windows component that can be separately *installed* or *uninstalled* for the whole system, which made little sense to me.
(Having that for something like Media Player makes sense, but for something this fundamental to the operating system (since almost all apps need and use it) - nah. :-)

It's only a viewer, that will show the clipboard contents. It isn't necessary for the operation of the Windows clipboard. You can remove the viewer if you want, most users don't even know that it is even available.
