Hello,
This is probably a very lame question but, I created a tab label form for
the first time. I want to change the color from gray to maybe blue or
something. On a regular form there is a place to change the back color but I
can't do it with this type of form. Am I missing something or is that it
cannot be accomplished on this type of form?

I don't know about Access 2007, but in earlier versions there are no color
options. There is, however, a way to get around that:
