I would like insert text into existing paragraphs BUT have the inserted text changed to a different format. For example, I have a full page of questions in Black Text and I now want to insert the answers in Red Text. Yes I could type all the answers, highlight them and one at a time change font color (or I could use “Control Drag” to make several selections) but I would think there might be a way to just change the default to Red so that as I type answers I would have all answers in Red. Hope this is clear. Is there a way to do this?

Create a paragraph style with Font Color: Red. Make it the "Style for following paragraph" of the style you're using for the questions. When you press Enter at the end of a question, you'll get a paragraph in the Answer style, with red text.
