Is there a way in Excel to increase the width of a border?
I have lots of text that I am managing in Excel, and when I print it out, the cells tend to run together a little bit - is there any way to increase the amount of white space between rows and columns - without adding a thin empty column between the columns (and a thin empty row between the rows). |

Excel has a 1024 limit on displayed characters in a cell. Are you running over this limit?

You can format the cells to wrap text and have an indent right or left. Play with those settings.

Thanks - I had completely overlooked the left and right indent - unfortunately, it's a left OR right in indent on not both but that will work perfectly.
As for the display limit - yes, I have a number of instances where we exceed 1024 cells. Other than putting less text in the cells, do you have any thoughts on displaying this information more efficiently? |

If you add an Alt + Enter linefeed about every 100 characters you can increase the 1024 limit by quite a bit.

My guess is that this is probably not what you want, but there is a Distributed (Indent) available.
