Hi there everyone
I have had an update that has been trying to install and today I decided to
try and fix it. It is the "Update for .NET Framework 3.0: x86 (KB932471)". I
tried installing this but it would not work.
I went onto the microsoft website and installed it manually but during the
install process numerous VBscrpit screens popped up all saying "null" when
you click ok for each individual one, you get a bunch of information (I
didn't get a chance to look at it all) and you have to keep pressing ok on
each "null" screen untill it went away.
I restarted my computer but the update still said it needed to be updated. I
then preoceeded to use Windows installer cleanup to remove .NetFramework 3.0
and 3.5 SP1
Now the wierd thing is .NetFramework 3.5 SP1 is still in my Add/Remove
Programs... I cannot uninstall it becuase it says something about missing the
setup files. I also cannot reinstall 3.0 becuase it says there is still a
newer version of .NetFramework on my computer.
I do not know what I need to do here as I cannot seem to find a way to
completely remove the 3.5 SP1 |

And your full Windows version would be...?
1. Write down what .NET Framework versions are already installed before you
go uninstalling/removing any of them!
How to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed and
whether service packs have been applied

2. Now see Resolutions Methods 1 or 2 in
LINK (ignore the title).
=> Note that the tool used in Method #2 is NOT the Windows Installer Cleanup
tool!
